What’s On at the Perth Royal Show

The Perth Royal Show is back for 2026, bringing eight days of entertainment, agriculture, food, rides, animals and plenty of Show favourites to Claremont Showground.

Running from 26 September to 3 October 2026, this year’s Show has a packed program across the Showgrounds, with something different happening each day.

With plenty happening across the Showgrounds, here are some of the highlights to look out for this year.

Meet the Animals

Animals remain a big part of the Perth Royal Show, with lots to see throughout the week.

Visitors can meet Highland cows at Cattle Corner, get up close with pigs in the Farmyard Nursery and discover snakes, lizards, spiders and more at Critters Up Close. There are also livestock competitions, horse events, dog and cat judging and agricultural displays happening across the Show.

Explore AgVenture Hill

For a closer look at WA agriculture, make your way to AgVenture Hill and the surrounding agricultural areas.

The Bee Discovery Hub offers the chance to learn more about bees, pollination and bee-friendly gardening, while other experiences across the Show explore everything from livestock and farming to food production and traditional skills.

Catch the Main Arena Action

There is plenty happening in the Main Arena throughout the Show, particularly once the evening program gets underway.

This year’s Main Arena program features a range of entertainment and performances, including David the Human Cannonball, the Hot Wheels Heroes Super Truck Show and plenty more throughout the week.

And of course, one of the best-known Royal Show traditions returns each night, with a fireworks spectacular lighting up the Showground.

Food, Showbags and Rides

It wouldn’t be the Royal Show without the food, rides and showbags.

Alongside the carnival favourites, there are food and beverage experiences throughout the grounds, including Dairy Land and Farm 2 Food. You can also browse the showbag options, take on the rides and explore the shopping and stalls dotted throughout the Showground.
